I’m not writing this to reopen anything or to change a decision you've already made.

I'm writing because leaving without clarity is something I regret, and I didn't want silence to be the last real thing between us.

After our fight, I withdrew for for months without explanation or a real conversation.

That wasn't fair to you.

I should have communicated instead of retreating.

You deserved honesty, even if it was uncomfortable.

I can see now that leaving you to make sense of it alone must have been confusing and hurtful.

That part is on me.

Looking back, I realize this wasn't just about one argument.

There were things I felt unsure about and didn't express properly.

Instead of speaking up, I let it build until I reacted in the worst possible way - by withdrawing.

That's something I'm working on for myself.

I was struggling more than I admitted at the time.

Instead of saying that clearly, I shut down. Multiple times.

That doesn't justify it.

But it explains why I handled it poorly.

I also recognize that my intensity may have made things feel heavier than they needed to be.

That wasn't my intention, and I can understand how it could have felt that way.

I don't expect forgiveness; I'm not asking you to reopen anything you've closed.

If nothing else, I hope this at least gives clarity where I once gave distance.

I'm sorry for how I handled things.
